An awareness sessions was conducted for the parents of students belonging to Guru Nanak English High School, located at Vikhroli by one of our Volunteer.
The topic was 3R i.e. Reduce, Reuse & Recycle.
Approx 50+ participants were given to understand the various aspects of 3R in our day to day life for a greener and cleaner environment in a classroom set-up in school premises while following all the safety measures in view of ongoing precautionary measures. The engagement from Participating parents were really encouraging as many were already implementing such aspects in their daily life. They were also briefed about the waste segregation an waste management practices which could be easily implemented at home with some small efforts and attentions.
All the participating teachers has created beautiful messages through posters & charts which were found to be so appealing and educational.
We hope that such participants will bring required changes in their life as well as in their respective families and neighborhood for the well being of our future generations.
